  • The basic assessment for school children, which takes approximately 4 hours, consists of a family interview followed by an assessment of reading and spelling difficulties.

  • Standardised tests are used to ascertain the pupil's level of reading and spelling. Diagnostic tests are used to pinpoint difficulties and to plan intervention programmes. Follow-up assessments are recommended twice a year, to monitor progress.

  • We provide screening of, and diagnostic reading assessment for, students at universities and colleges who suspect that they might be dyslexic and who are in the process of applying for the Disabled Students' Allowance [DSA].
